DOWNER CLASSIC, JUNE 24TH 2018
The Downer Classic is one of the longest running criterium races in Milwaukee and is wildly popular with racers and spectators alike. Located just blocks from Lake Michigan, the Downer Classic is a fast paced four turn criterium course. Long straightaways and huge crowds amplify the action to a frenetic pace.
Race 2 of the Fyxation will take place on the Downer Classic course, and will be a feature event of the Tour of America's Dairyland (ToAD) race series; both men's and women's Fyxation Open points series races will be hosted. Prizes, primes and cash will be awarded with points going toward the grand prize for the series winner presented at the Chicago Criterium on July 23rd.

As the largest road cycling event in the US, the Tour of America's Dairyland (ToAD) spans 11 days as amateur and Professional bicycle racers compete in 11 Wisconsin communities in criterium, road and circuit races. Over 600 racers competed daily in 2014 for more than $160,000 in cash and primes in view 170,000 exuberant fans.
The Downer classic will feature and entire day of criterium racing with the fixed gear criterium race prior the Men's and Women's pro final. Come early to enjoy the racing action, block parties and barbecue, restaurants and coffee houses that line the course.
